Our tournaments are open to all Chess for Success participants at no cost and are also accessible to students who are not part of our program for a small fee.

These tournaments typically take place during the winter months, running from February to April.

Regional Tournaments are an excellent way for kids to showcase their skills and put them to the test! They also are a great way to build community within the team and other schools.

It's important to note that Regional Tournaments have limited slots, allowing only 10 students per team to participate. However, coaches have the option to bring along 2 alternates. These tournaments serve as qualifiers for the Oregon State Chess Tournament, with only one Regional Tournament held each year per region.
