CFS After School

Our After School program is offered in schools and community centers throughout Oregon and SW Washington.

We integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) practices and principles like mindfulness and emotional regulation with chess instruction and play. 

  • Runs during academic school year
  • 2 hours per week instruction and practice

Tournament Play

Practice Tournaments, 25+ regional tournaments across Oregon and SW Washington, 1 state tournament, Girls Play Chess and City of Portland Tournaments  —  all free for our program students to compete in!  Non CFS students can join a tournament for a $25 registration fee!

  • Run in February and March
  • State tournament in April
