Description

The Vangie Shaw Memorial Chess Tournament follows the same fundamental rules and structure as our other tournaments and is open to all female or female identifying players with no maximum from any particular school. The sections will depend upon the registrations. As with most Chess for Success tournaments, plan on arriving between 8:15 to 8:30 with the forfeit deadline being 8:45. You can anticipate being at the tournament until approximately 2 pm, as it comprises 5 rounds of play, followed by an awards ceremony at the conclusion of the event.

Registration is open to all female identifying players in Oregon and Clark County Washington.
